Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise across Manual, Automation, API, UI, Performance, and Database testing. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and messaging queue validation to ensure high-quality delivery in complex, event-driven systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for API, UI, and backend systems. Perform end-to-end automation using tools such as REST Assured, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress. Execute manual testing when required to validate edge cases, business logic, and system integrity. Conduct performance testing using JMeter or similar tools to ensure system resilience and scalability. Validate data flows and functional accuracy through thorough database testing (SQL/NoSQL). Work with Kafka or other messaging queues to validate events in distributed, event-driven architectures. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case design for new and existing features. Ensure adherence to QA best practices, including defect prevention, test optimization, and documentation. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs through systematic root-cause analysis. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing automation coverage and test efficiency.
Required Skillsets
Strong experience in Manual + Automation Testing across functional and non-functional areas. Expertise in API automation using REST Assured.
