Distributed Control System (DCS) environments

Serve as primary resource for all existing DCS equipment and initiatives; oversee integration of new technology with manufacturing systems.
Track engineering changes and update necessary documents using the MOC process; ensure traceability and compliance.
Design specifications and detailed documentation; develop advanced testing methodologies; assist in setting up, qualifying, and maintaining equipment and machinery; coordinate with field group, contractors, consulting firms, and suppliers.
BS in Engineering
0–5 years manufacturing or related experience
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Solid understanding of software development and programming
Excellent written and verbal communication; effective hardware/software troubleshooting
Highly organized with engineering leadership capabilities
Familiarity with Process Control systems (preferably Rockwell/Allen-Bradley) and process automation concepts

Makes sure that field devices, instrumentation systems, communication networks and interfaces are working properly.
Build up and instigate advanced testing methodologies and makes use of a combination of testing techniques. They work together with field group, contractors, consulting firms and Suppliers to integrate new technology into existing manufacturing systems.

Requirements
BS Engineering discipline required
0-5 years of manufacturing or related experience required
Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operation) experience preferred
Process Control systems, preferably Rockwell Allen Bradley.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of a software development and computer programming.
Highly organized and creative.
Possess effective engineering leadership skills.
Strong research skills.
Excellent written and communication skills and proficiency in hardware and software development and troubleshooting.
Effective in designing process improvement projects; keeping up-to-date with latest developments in industrial automation technology and using these studies in improving productivity and promoting cost effectiveness.
