Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with strong coding skills and hands-on experience in developing test documents, test cases, and automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux systems, data handling algorithms, and system-level programming. Exposure to storage technologies, particularly NVMe, is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software and system performance. Create comprehensive test documents and test cases from functional requirements. Write efficient and scalable code in Python for automation purposes. Handle data efficiently using strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Perform testing and debugging on Linux systems, including working with system-level programs and drivers. Document testing results and prepare detailed technical reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve automation processes.

Desired Skills

Excellent programming skills in Python. Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms. Proficiency in Linux systems and comfortable with CLI operations and system-level programming. Strong communication and technical writing skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Advantages / Plus Points

Experience in black-box and system-level testing. Prior experience in the storage domain, especially NVMe, is a strong plus. Exposure to performance benchmarking or storage testing tools.

Qualifications

B. E. in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• 3 - 8 years of relevant industry experience in software automation, system-level testing, or storage systems.
