Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled QA Tester with strong hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing, and basic business analysis.
The candidate should be able to understand requirements, prepare test cases, execute tests, and ensure high-quality product delivery.
Quality Assurance
Perform manual testing across web and API applications. Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts. Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Conduct regression, functional, integration, and UAT testing. Identify, log, and track defects using Jira or similar tools. Ensure high-quality deliverables by validating performance, usability, and security aspects. Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug issues.
Business Analysis
Participate in requirement-gathering discussions with clients and internal stakeholders. Analyze business needs and translate them into clear, testable requirements. Prepare requirement documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams). Support the product and development teams with requirement clarifications. Ensure traceability from requirement to test coverage.
Process & Collaboration
Work with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product, UI/UX, DevOps). Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and review meetings. Assist in improving QA processes, tools, and standards. Provide KT (knowledge transfer) sessions to junior testers or new team members.
Technical Skills
Test case design & execution. Bug reporting & tracking. Functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing. API testing using Postman.
Automation Testing
Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent). Ability to write automation scripts (Java, Python, or C# based on your tech stack). Experience with CI/CD-driven test execution is a plus.
