Description

We are looking for an experienced, open-minded, and creative QA Automation Engineer with either software development or a QA background and experience working with embedded devices. You will be working with embedded hardware on a daily basis, and your work will be focused primarily on this area.

The primary tool used in the project is Python and a test framework;

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in testing and test automation of Embedded, Telco, or IoT software using Python and shell scripting for Android and Linux platforms. Strong proficiency in Python, with proven experience in developing automated tests and building test frameworks (e.g., Pytest). A proactive mindset with the ability to independently generate ideas and solutions, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Practical experience working with hardware interfaces such as HDMI, UART, USB, IP, or similar protocols.

Job responsibilities

Providing technical assessments to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability. Analyzing test results and working with Developers and Engineers to perform bug fixes/improvements. Designing and developing automated tests and test frameworks. Our customer prefers an ownership-based way of work, which means that we get a lot of independence on defining how to achieve agreed goals. You are expected to be proactive and bring new ideas and suggestions.
