Role & seniority: Principal Test Expert specializing in embedded systems testing; ~7–10 years of experience.
Stack/tools: embedded systems (MCU and peripherals), communication protocols (Modbus TCP/Serial, Zigbee, Bluetooth), test automation (scripts; Python), test frameworks, traceability matrices, test benches.
Develop and implement test strategies, plans, architectures, and automation approaches; define traceability and test bench needs.
Lead test execution, analyze results, perform root-cause analysis, and produce comprehensive verification/defect reports.
Collaborate with firmware/edge, hardware, and cloud teams; drive continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Deep knowledge of embedded systems concepts (MCUs, peripherals).
Proven ability to create test plans, strategies, and comprehensive test cases (functional and non-functional, regression, performance, boundary, integration, system, robustness).
Experience with cross-functional collaboration and risk assessment/mitigation in testing.
Proficiency in Python and test automation; experience with automation frameworks/tools.
Experience with Modbus TCP/Serial, Zigbee, Bluetooth protocols.
Strong written and verbal English communication; able to work autonomously.
Cybersecurity testing principles; MBSE/systems engineering basics.
Agile development experience; openness to new testing meth
Test Automation: - Experience in developing and implementing automated test scripts. Proficiency in using test automation frameworks and tools. Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages.
Willingness to explore and adopt new test methodologies and approaches.
