Strategic Test Development: Design, develop, and implement robust test plans and detailed test cases for complex 3D-IC EDA software, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all release stages, from Debuild to Production.
Automation & Regression Mastery: Create and maintain automated regression suites to ensure the continuous stability and quality of software releases. This will span critical 3D-IC workflows such as Physical Design, Design-for-Test (DFT), Package Design, Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), DC Drop, Thermal analysis, and Mechanical Stress analysis.
Flow Management & Orchestration: Leverage and develop sophisticated industry standard Flow Managers to orchestrate and implement intricate QA flows, manage diverse test environments, and automate build verification processes, streamlining our quality assurance efforts.
Deep Dive Analysis: Conduct thorough functional, performance, and regression testing on new features and existing functionalities, identifying potential issues with precision.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Analyze test results in detail, pinpoint defects, and collaborate closely with our Product and R&D Teams to ensure timely resolution and rigorous verification.

Release Gatekeeping: Play a crucial role in managing release cycles, ensuring all quality gates are met for Alpha, Beta, and Production releases, safeguarding the integrity of our software.
Bachelors OR Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field. A strong foundational understanding of EDA concepts and methodologies, with particular emphasis on 2.5D/3D-IC design and verification challenges. Proven proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python/C++, Tcl/Tk, Perl, Bash/Shell) for developing robust test automation and efficient flow management. Proficiency with Linux operating systems and advanced shell scripting. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Perforce/P4, Git) for managing complex design IP and test cases. Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Solid experience with Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, including expert-level test plan creation and meticulous test case development, Proficiency with regression testing principles and experience working within continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles and design data management within an EDA context. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal direction! Advanced English speaking and writing skills required for effective collaboration and communication with globally distributed teams.
Direct experience with FlowTracer Altair or similar sophisticated workflow management and automation tools. Specialized knowledge or experience in one or more of the following 3D-IC workflows: Physical Design, DFT, Package Design, SI/PI/DC Drop, Thermal analysis, and/or Mechanical Stress analysis.
