Knowledge of AGILE methods; proficient English (French is a plus); ability to manage risk and drive continuous improvement.
French language capability; formal project management experience; broader exposure to ISR, cryptography, or aerospace domains.

In the engineering group of THALES Belgium, the IVVQ Manager is the technical leader who coordinates all testing activities of the projects, both internally and with subcontractors and customers.
Define the testing strategy and the means with a planning approach and a clear view of risks and opportunities, Manage planning and performance monitoring in the respect of the costs Guarantee the quality of our solutions
You work closely with the EDM - Engineering Delivery Manager, the System Engineering team and the wider engineering team to drive the definition of the testing development strategy, progress tracking of the whole IVVQ activities and the risks and opportunities management.
Your mission
Define the test strategy and the testing means during development phase. Assemble the solution/product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behavior, interactions and performance, Build and Coordinate IVVQ Engineering team that will write the test cases and execute them according to the requirements Drive the automation of the test procedure to optimize the verification & validation campaigns. Verify that all requirements from which the solution/product has been designed, are fulfilled in accordance with the test strategy, defined in the IVVQ Plan Monitor the run of the test sequences based on debugged test scripts Carry out both manual and automated tests to establish the quality of the system under test Monitor/share the IVVQ progress with Metrics/KPIs and provide regular and accurate reports of progress Drive the writing of the test reports and various descriptive documents Work closely with EDM (Engineering Delivery Manager) to identify/update technical risks and provide schedule update for IVVQ activities. Document the test procedures and test reports in the IVVQ tools and generate formal documentation Analyze and interpret test results and provide inputs to the subcontractors and development teams for solving issues; Contribute in project status meetings daily scrums and agile planning as required by the project
We are looking forward to
Master’s degree in Engineering. Electronics / Telecommunication knowledge is a plus At least 7 years of relevant experience in Integration Verification Validation & Qualification in different technical environments, like Software, Hardware, System and EMI- Electromagnetic interference - and EMC - Electromagnetic compatibility. A project management experience is a valuable asset Be Customer focused with excellent communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-moving environment with multiple parallel objectives Passion to learn new technologies and method, problem solving Results-oriented, cost-conscious, proactive and self-motivated Process driven and knowledge of AGILE Methodology Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Knowledge of French is a valuable asset Capability to dealing with multiple strands of complexity to achieve business objectives and work with varying levels of stakeholders, creating a competitive advantage by managing risk, identifying opportunities and fostering continuous improvement
