Role & seniority: Hebrew Localization QA Tester / Proofreader (project-based, long-term potential)
Stack/tools: native-language QA for Hebrew; English-language proficiency; web-based system testing on Mac OS X and iOS; test cases/test scripts; bug tracking systems
Conduct test cases and identify localization bugs
Report issues via internal bug tracking system and verify fixes after remediation
Prioritize linguistic issues (must-fix vs. nice-to-have) and clearly articulate reproduction steps
Native-level Hebrew (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation)
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Translation/testing experience; ability to test web apps on Mac OS X and iOS
Experience with test cases/scripts and bug tracking systems
Strong problem-solving, independent and collaborative work ability, and ability to work under pressure
Nice-to-haves: familiarity with localization processes, prior on-site testing roles, experience in large-scale NLP or language services projects

Job Description Summary
Welocalize is offering a unique opportunity for those who enjoy a combination of linguistic and technical work. We are seeking Hebrew Localization QA Testers / Proofreaders for a project in Cupertino, California. We need your native-level fluency skills combined with strong technical skills. If you are looking for a long-term (no end date) role this is a great opportunity for you!
The tester will conduct test cases, identify localization bugs, report them via an internal bug tracking system as well as verify the fixes once implemented. The perfect candidate will possess strong linguistic skills.
Location: Onsite in Cupertino, CA (100% onsite attendance, no remote work) - client's shuttle available!
Workweek: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm (1 hour unpaid break from 12-1) = 35 hours a week
Hourly Rate: $35
Duration: Project-based W-2 employee, eligible for benefits based on hours worked Must have a US work permit
