Role & seniority: Manufacturing test/assembly technician (entry to mid-level, 1–2 years relevant experience)
Stack/tools: Electrical/electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, ohm meters, calipers, torque wrenches, hand tools); NCIs and supplier investigations; data systems; Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams)
Perform design, test, modification, and assembly of electromechanical systems; conduct operational tests and fault isolation
Troubleshoot basic mechanical/software issues; read and follow work instructions; escalate complex problems
Ensure safety compliance, use appropriate PPE, conduct RMBWA safety checks, and communicate system/status during shifts
Diploma in Electronics/Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering; 1–2 years related testing experience
Proficiency with test equipment and ability to operate diverse diagnostic tools
Strong reading/writing in English; effective communication; basic software/data-system literacy
Experience with clean room procedures, LOTO/ZEST, and safety protocols; ability to follow risk management practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; occasional travel to other Lam/customer facilities
Basic color distinction for wire identification; experience with NCIs/supplier investigations
What you'll do Supports Manufacturing activities such as design, test, modification, and assembly of electromechanical systems, devices, and specialized test equipment. Applications may include electronic circuits, photonics, and logic systems. Works from work instructions, schematics, diagrams, and appropriate documents. Works with layouts or defined plans to perform testing and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Understands and can operate all test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Effectively read and follow work instructions for proper product assembly function May troubleshoot basic mechanical & software issues within the assembly manufacturing environment Escalate problem and/or solution to appropriate group Create NCIs and supplier investigations for logistics Other Responsibilities
