Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts; ensure test coverage across functional, integration, system, and regression levels
Analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements to ensure clarity and testability; prepare and maintain testing documentation
Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine test cases and apply QA best practices
4+ years testing experience, with 3+ years in automation testing
Hands-on automation across both front-end and back-end systems
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#)
Experience in Web Services/API automation testing and REST API tools
Strong knowledge of software testing principles; ability to work in Agile environments
Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
SQL knowledge

Job Description Our Testers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications, databases, and operating systems, they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction. As an Automation Tester at Endava, you will be in charge of building, developing, and implementing automated tests to assure the quality of our software applications. You will take part in specific projects and work directly with our global stakeholders. Analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements to ensure clarity and testability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to define, refine, and optimize test cases. Execute testing at all levels, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing. Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using various frameworks and programming languages. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies throughout the development cycle. Apply quality engineering principles and best practices throughout the Agile product lifecycle. Prepare and maintain clear testing documentation. Qualifications
Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#. Experienced in Web Services / API automation testing. Familiar with REST API testing tools and related technologies. Experience building automation testing frameworks from scratch is a strong advantage. Good knowledge of SQL is a plus. Experience with Azure or AWS DevOps pipelines for automated builds and CI/CD is a plus. Knowledge of BDD frameworks and practices is a plus.
