Role & seniority: Test Engineer, mid to senior level (early-stage engineering team member)
Stack/tools: mechanical, electrical, software collaboration; high-voltage systems (400–2000 VDC, 480–800 VAC); manufacturing & field testers; test automation, self-test, data analysis; GRR/SAT; battery testers/characterization tools
Design, implement, and validate manufacturing and field testers for a new electromechanical product
Collaborate with firmware/hardware teams to define test coverage, metrics, and manufacturing testing features; lead tester builds and validation (GRR, SAT)
Debug root-cause issues in manufacturing tests and develop scalable test infrastructure and automation
Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field; 5+ years in manufacturing/test engineering or similar
Experience with high-voltage systems; cross-disciplinary comfort (mechanical, electrical, software)
Background in high-volume manufacturing; direct battery tester or characterization tools
Ability to develop scalable tools/infrastructure; strong communication with stakeholders
Experience leading tester builds/validation programs; proficiency in test automation and data analysis
Prior work in battery-related testing environments; broader software/firmware collaboration
Location & work type: California-based, full-time position; occasional travel; potential for weekends/nights/on-cal
