Full Description

We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer to support the testing and quality assurance of web-based applications for the digital infrastructure program. The role involves executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and ensuring that all software deliverables meet defined quality standards. This position offers exposure to complex enterprise and infrastructure-related systems and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in an agile setup.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Test Execution & Validation
  • Perform manual and functional testing of web applications and portals.
  • Prepare and execute test cases, test scripts, and regression test suites.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps.
  • Validate UI functionality, performance, and usability across browsers.
  1. Test Planning & Documentation
  • Assist in preparing test plans and test data for assigned modules.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results and status reports.
  • Support QA Lead in maintaining test coverage and traceability.
  1. Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and verify fixes.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Support UAT testing with business users.
  1. Automation (Optional / Added Advantage)
  • Basic understanding of Selenium / Postman for automation or API testing.
  • Write simple scripts for smoke or regression tests (if applicable).
