Position: Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Duration: 12+ Months

Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident. No relocation allowed.

Summary The Quality Assurance Analyst – Advanced will support large-scale healthcare technology projects in collaboration with an enterprise Project Management Office (PMO). This role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of Medicaid-related applications within a structured governance and compliance-driven environment. Candidates who enjoy working on complex, change-oriented initiatives and collaborating across technical and business teams will find this role highly engaging.

Daily Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and QA/UAT processes based on business and technical requirements Maintain full SDLC traceability between requirements, designs, and test cases Perform functional, regression, negative, usability, and user interface testing Design, execute, and support manual and automated test scripts Participate in defect triage, retesting, and resolution activities Prepare QA documentation, metrics, and status reports Adhere to established QA governance standards and recommend continuous improvements Communicate testing results, risks, and gaps clearly to development teams

Required Skills 5+ years translating business or policy requirements into test cases and scenarios 5+ years building and managing test cases within test management systems 3+ years hands-on experience with healthcare operations (Medicaid preferred) 3+ years experience using QA tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence

Preferred Skills · Experience supporting large enterprise or e-business systems · Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies · Prior Medicaid or healthcare domain experience
