About the Role

We are currently on the lookout for a confident QA/QC Painting Inspector to join our Defence Solutions team based out of our office in Osborne, SA. As a QA/QC Painting Inspector you will use your skills and expertise to support project managers, supervisors, and crew members to ensure the successful completion of our projects.

Main Responsibilities include

  • Live and role model Eptec’s Zero Harm Values – drive a safety culture and collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with project plans and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance to all internal and client quality requirements and procedures for painting/blasting works.
  • Ensure that Technical procedures and ITPs and all Quality, Safety, Environmental and Technical obligations are achieved and maintained
  • Participate in task planning and risk analysis, conduct regular audits, and maintain quality standards.
  • Conducting material inspections and review of documentation to ensure compliance to project technical requirements.
  • Reporting on all non-conformance incidents and providing feedback on solutions and turnaround time for corrections made

To be considered for this role you need

NACE CIP 2 certified. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Experience in marine, asset remediation and infrastructure projects, with blasting & painting, and concrete rehabilitation works. (Highly desirable). Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances and application processes. Familiar with Quality systems - progressing, ITPs, QA/QC liaison. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
