Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Developer / Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced automation solutions across multiple OEM platforms. The role involves PLC/SCADA development, HMI design, system integration, and end-to-end project execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in PLC/SCADA programming, industrial communication protocols, and commissioning of automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Development Develop and implement PLC logic, SCADA screens, HMI applications, and control strategies. Configure and integrate industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, etc. Build automation libraries, templates, and reusable engineering components. System Design & Architecture Design PLC hardware configurations, I/O mapping, industrial networks, and control panel layouts. Prepare documentation such as FDS, DDS, IO lists, logic diagrams, architecture drawings, and system specifications. Support system modeling, simulations, testing, and optimization. Project Execution & Delivery Lead development activities from requirement gathering → development → FAT → SAT → commissioning. Perform system testing, debugging, and validation of control applications. Ensure all solutions comply with quality, safety, and performance standards. Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, IT, and site engineering teams. Continuous Improvement Optimize existing automation systems for performance, reliability, and scalability. Recommend enhancements in logic, architecture, or communication design. Develop engineering tools, scripts, and utilities to improve productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics or related field. 3–7 years of hands-on experience in PLC/SCADA development. Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms like WinCC, FTView, Intouch, Ignition, Citect, etc.
