About The Role
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through robust automated testing.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, functional testing, API testing, and performance testing.
This role involves collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to define test strategies, design test plans, and improve overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications. Build and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as Cypress Implement reliable test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Test Planning & Strategy
Analyze product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test scenarios. Contribute to test strategy, estimation, and planning for sprints/releases. Participate in backlog grooming, design discussions, and requirement walkthroughs.
Execution & Reporting
Execute automated and manual test cases where applicable. Identify defects, log them clearly, track to closure, and collaborate with development teams for resolution. Provide detailed test reports, automation coverage reports, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
API & Integration Testing
Design and automate tests for RESTful APIs using Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks. Validate request/response schemas, error handling, and integration flows.
Performance & Security (optional/plus)
Conduct performance testing using JMeter, K6, or similar tools. Awareness of basic security testing concepts (OWASP Top 10).
Continuous Improvement
Continuously identify opportunities to enhance test automation coverage, reliability, and efficiency. Follow best practices for version control (Git), branching strategies, and code review. Mentor junior QA members in automation and testing techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Mobile: Appium (optional but good to have) Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or similar. Experience in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum processes. Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail, etc. Good knowledge of databases (SQL) for test data validation. Experience writing reusable automation frameworks is a strong plus.
