We are looking for a passionate Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts ensuring product quality and reliability.
The role demands a strong understanding of software testing principles, test automation frameworks, and hands-on experience with modern QA tools and CI/CD pipelines.
The Hats You Will Wear
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing. Identify, document, and track bugs through the defect management process. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and high product quality. Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and ensure consistent automation coverage. Implement and optimize test frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency. Participate in sprint planning, story reviews, and daily stand-ups as part of the Agile process. Continuously improve automation practices and contribute to QA strategy and best practices.
The Perfect Fit
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field. 3-7 years of experience in automation testing of web and API-based applications. Strong knowledge of Selenium / Playwright / Cypress and RestAssured / Postman / Karate for API testing. Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript (one or more). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave, etc.) is a plus. Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
