Full Description
Description title: QA Lead
Experience: 7+ Years
Location: Bangalore (Kalyan Nagar)
Skills set: Automation Testing, Manual Testing, Java, Selenium, Team Lead (mandatory skills) ,Database testing (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
Participate in requirement analysis and reviews to ensure testability and identify potential risks early. Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements. Ensure best testing practices are followed across projects.
Manual Testing
Perform detailed manual testing for new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and regression cycles. Identify, document, track, and validate defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution. Ensure quality standards are met throughout the SDLC.
Automation Testing
Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for Web and/or Mobile applications. Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. Hands-on experience with Selenium (Java), BDD, Cucumber, TestNG, and Maven. Knowledge of UiPath is an added advantage.
Test Execution & Reporting
Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze test results. Prepare detailed test reports and dashboards, ensuring transparency of quality metrics. Ensure all test activities, defects, and outcomes are clearly documented and communicated.
Tools & Methodologies
Strong working experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Jira for test management and defect tracking.
Collaboration & Mentorship
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables. Provide guidance and mentorship to QA team members and promote quality-driven practices across teams. Support smooth and timely releases by ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7 - 10 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices. Hands-on expertise in Selenium Java automation frameworks. Experience in Agile environments with strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA deliverables.
Nice To Have
Exposure to UiPath or RPA testing. Experience leading or mentoring QA teams.
