Role & seniority: Penetration Tester; senior-level; leads or participates in offensive/defensive cybersecurity operations (Red/Blue Teams) for NATO systems.
Stack/tools: Web, infrastructure, and application penetration testing; security design reviews; scripting in Perl/Python/Ruby/shell; use of standard pentest tools and methodologies; UNIX and Windows system/network administration knowledge.
Lead and/or participate in Red/Blue Team exercises during NATO operations.
Conduct web, infrastructure, and application penetration testing; perform security design reviews for compliance with NATO policies.
Provide security consultancy, coordinate with stakeholders (NCIA CBC, Security Accreditation Boards/Authorities), and brief findings to executive and technical audiences (including flag officers).

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Penetration Tester to join a dynamic team responsible for securing critical NATO systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead and participate in offensive and defensive cybersecurity operations (Red/Blue Teams), conduct in-depth security assessments, and provide expert consultancy to ensure robust security postures in alignment with NATO policies. This role demands technical excellence, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to communicate complex security issues clearly to both technical and executive audiences, including flag officers.
Scripting skills in at least one of the following: Perl, Python, Ruby, shell (bash, ksh, csh); Technical knowledge in system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, application security, as well as, malware infection techniques and protection technologies. Ability to evaluate risks and formulate mitigation plans; Proven ability to write clear and structured technical reports including executive summary, technical findings and remediation plan for several different audiences.
