At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Expert / Penetration Tester with the required security clearance to join our team and work on critical security projects. You will be involved in leading or participating in Red/Blue Team exercises, performing in-depth web, infrastructure, and application penetration testing, and providing security consultancy and design reviews to ensure robust, secure IT environments. You will also deliver clear, structured technical reports and briefings to various stakeholders and collaborate closely with internal and external teams.
What You’ll Do
Lead and/or participate in Red/Blue Team exercises. Conduct web application, network, and IT infrastructure penetration testing. Perform security design reviews to ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices. Provide security consultancy and advice to projects, plans, and other entities. Build and maintain effective communications with various stakeholders. Brief at both executive and technical levels on security reports and testing outcomes. Collaborate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective security practices.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity and penetration testing. Extensive knowledge of web application and IT infrastructure penetration testing. Experience in network security architecture design and vulnerability assessment of OS, software, protocols, and networks. Strong understanding of system and network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, malware techniques, and protection technologies. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, or shell scripting (bash, ksh, csh). Familiarity with UNIX/Linux and Windows system administration. Experience with penetration testing tools, techniques, and recognized methodologies. Proven ability to write clear and structured technical reports including executive summaries, findings, and remediation plans. Ability to evaluate risks and formulate mitigation strategies. Must possess a valid security clearance.
