Must-have skills

  • 3+ years field experience; ability to read/interpret mechanical, structural & isometric drawings

  • Independent work capability; strong integrity and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks; excellent written and verbal communication

  • Proficiency with computer applications; data management, collection, and reporting

  • Experience with QA/QC activities on construction sites (Welding, HVAC, Plumbing)

  • Knowledge of welding (pipe/structural), pressure testing, coating, torquing; paperwork for material testing/inspection and QA/QC for NDE, insulation, ducting

  • Onsite field work; valid driver’s license

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification or extensive experience as CWI, API, AI or NDE inspector

  • Fast-paced construction environment experience; aptitude to learn new systems

  • Ability to train staff on necess

We’re looking for someone to support our QA/QC team in West Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will perform critical tasks. We will rely heavily on this person to maintain strict confidentiality and possess strong attention to detail skills and have desire to do non routine tasks.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver quality record development (hydro forms/civil forms etc.) for review and retention
  • Maintain effective information storage systems to enable easy retrieval of QA/QC documents and data
  • Support regular compilation and reporting of quality related QA/QC data for management reporting and review
  • Maintenance of all records demonstrating full traceability of changes to construction documents
  • Inputting data into software programs, and compiling data books for final turnover to clients
  • Must be able to work independently while demonstrating strong qualities and integrity

What you’ll need (minimum qualifications)

  • Strong computer application skills
  • Minimum 3 years and above field experience with ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural & isometric drawings.
  • Plan and perform work activities independently
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, perform and communicate activities in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with quality management systems involving ASME, AWS and AWWA mechanical codes.
  • Computer literacy applied to data management, collection, and reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in Quality Control activities on assigned projects at construction sites performing Welding, HVAC, Plumbing services.
  • Knowledge pertaining to welding (pipe, structural), pressure testing (pneumatic, hydrostatic), coating (paint, plating) and torquing (bolts, flanges, valves)
  • Process paperwork regarding material testing/inspection and QA/QC for NDE, Insulation, Ducting services.
  • Working onsite at field locations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Aptitude to learn new systems
  • Ability to train staff on necessary operations
  • Certification or extensive experience as a CWI, API, AI or NDE inspector.
