Implement and manage the Quality Management System and overall quality performance for the project.

Must-have skills

CWI certification; multi-discipline QA/QC experience; 10+ years in construction or related environment; 5+ years in management.

Full Description
Audubon is currently seeking a QAQC Inspector to join our team in our Houston, TX Energy Corridor Office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation of Audubon Construction Solutions Quality Management System and overall quality performance
- Manage the Quality Control and Assurance program for the project
- Assist the Project Managers to set up, monitor, and maintain the Quality Management System project execution tools.
- Assure proper Inspection Test Reports are implemented and fulfilled throughout duration for the project
- Liaise with Supervision to ascertain and integrate quality management techniques that would benefit the project.
- Assure compliance with Audubon Construction Solutions standards.
- Interface with Corporate Management for technical support in Mechanical, Civil, Coating, Electrical and Structural documentation and other quality related practices and applications
- Coordinates with Corporate Management for weld procedures and weld certifications and monitors weld program onsite
- Monitor surveillance trends, NCRs, and subsequently surveillance testing activities for the project.
- Communicate any non-conformance and defects that may impact requirements for design, safety assurance, construction, commissioning, maintenance, or operations
- Maintain Inspection Test Plan for project activities and disciplines
- Maintain the Audubon Stage-Gate Project Management Process.
- Remain abreast of Industry “State of the Art” project management tools and practices.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) required.
- Multi discipline experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- 10+ years’ experience in construction company or related environment including 5 years’ management experience.
- Excellent speaking, writing, communication, and organizational skills; public speaking a plus.
- Prior technical writing and/or project leadership experience a plus.
- Computer literate and familiar with MS Office® software; SharePoint experience a plus.
- Computer literate in BlueBeam and NavisWorks
