Role & seniority: QA/Testing Consultant, mid-level (2–4 years of QA/manual + automation)

Stack/tools

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts; perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and APIs

  • Track/report defects (JIRA); collaborate with developers and product managers; conduct regression, integration, performance, and security testing

  • Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks; provide documentation and quality reports; participate in Agile ceremonies and advocate CI/CD best practices

Must-have skills

  • 2–4 years QA/testing experience (manual + automation)

  • Proficiency with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)

  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

  • Experience with bug/test management tools (JIRA, Xray); basic SQL and API testing (Postman, REST, SOAP)

  • Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering/IT; fluent English; strong problem-solving and communication

Nice-to-haves

  • ISTQB or equivalent certification

  • Additional languages

  • Experience with performance or security testing

Location & work type

  • On-site in Rondebosch; four days per week on-site (non-negotiable)

Your Missions

Your Profile

Experience in QA/testing (2–4 years, manual and automation) Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Experience with bug tracking/test management tools (JIRA, Xray) Basic SQL and API testing knowledge (Postman, REST, SOAP)

Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent Fluent English. Other languages are a plus. ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred You demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills
