Salary: 18 weeks paid pa
Role & seniority: Electrical Test Technician (early-to-mid career), on-site role for the High Capacity Signalling project in Perth, WA.
Stack/tools: Test procedures (including Serial Test Procedures) for onboard systems; reporting of test results; collaboration with Test Engineering and Industrial Quality; WA A-grade electrical licence.
Complete handover from manufacturing for onboard systems.
Execute Serial Test Procedures, conduct tests, and finalise test reports.
Repair failures promptly, document findings precisely, and escalate unresolved issues to the EPU Test Manager; identify process improvements.
Proactive, agile, and autonomous working style.
Team-player with a positive attitude.
Demonstrated fault-finding skills and testing experience with complex systems.
WA A-grade electrical licence.
Experience with onboard rail systems and cross-team collaboration (Test Engineering/Industrial Quality).
Willingness to work across the network beyond the Nowergup site.
Location & work type: Based at Nowergup, Perth, Western Australia; may require testing across the network; on-site with potential travel.

We have multiple exciting opportunities available for electrical Test Technicians to join our team responsible for the delivery of the High Capacity Signalling (HCS) project in Perth, Western Australia. In this role you will primarily be responsible for the testing activities for the Onboard systems, for the different fleets operating across the network. You will be based at our Nowergup site, but may be required to work across the network for testing activities.
Completing the handover from manufacturing Following test procedures rigorously Executing all Serial Test Procedures and finalising reports Repairing failures immediately and documenting precisely Escalating unresolved issues to the EPU Test Manager Suggesting process improvements Collaborating effectively with Test Engineering and Industrial Quality.
