Stack/tools: internal combustion engine test equipment; data acquisition systems; NVH hardware/software; LabVIEW; ComAp; PLC systems; ETAS; MATLAB; Dewesoft; CAN protocols; post-processing software; MS Office
Develop and coordinate component/system validation tests using PSI DAQ software and NVH tools; conduct testing for combustion and vibration analysis
Support calibration/validation by setting up test articles, validating instrumentation, configuring data acquisition, executing test plans, and documenting results
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, fuel systems, simulation, and controls teams; author procedures; analyze data; present findings; assist in procuring test equipment; lead small improvement projects
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) with strong academics
Understanding of mechanical/electrical aspects of internal combustion engines; ability to troubleshoot and learn new skills
Ownership, initiative, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and teamwork; safety compliance (PPE)
