Role Overview We are searching for a highly skilled Test Engineer to support our client’s engine development team. The consultant will take ownership of daily operations in the engine test cells, including maintenance of engines and test equipment, engine installations, test preparation, and executing measurements. This assignment is primarily focused on NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) testing, ensuring that test results are reliable and actionable.
By leveraging our consultancy, the client gains a resource that not only executes tests but also contributes to process improvements and knowledge transfer, enhancing overall test facility efficiency.
Responsibilities Operate and maintain engine test cells and associated equipment. Prepare engines and test setups according to the test schedule. Conduct engine tests and perform precise measurements. Collaborate with the team to enhance test methods and the work environment. Address immediate operational challenges while contributing to long-term improvements.
Required Competence Practical experience with combustion engines, laboratory/test equipment, or similar environments. Ability to learn and develop both technical skills and process improvements. Experience with NVH testing is an advantage.
