Senior Staff QA Engineer

What You’ll Do
Lead the end-to-end QA strategy across multiple software and infrastructure initiatives. Architect and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web, API, and data services. Align QA practices with stringent security and compliance requirements. Define and monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions). Execute performance, load, and security testing to ensure system resilience. Champion test planning, execution, and documentation that meets enterprise reporting standards. Influence design and architecture decisions to embed quality from the ground up. Mentor QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Lead defect prevention and root cause analysis to enhance system stability and delivery velocity.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10–15 years of QA or Software Engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior/staff-level role. Deep expertise in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, PyTest). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven ability to test APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6) and observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Grafana). Strong grasp of Agile, DevOps, and modern SDLC practices. Exceptional analytical skills and communication abilities.
Bonus Points
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of security testing and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST). Exposure to AI-driven or data-centric testing methodologies. Background in SaaS, mobile, or regulated environments. Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and guiding QA or engineering teams.
