About the Role As a Senior QA Engineer, you will drive the quality strategy of our digital platforms by leading complex testing initiatives, improving QA processes, and mentoring team members. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, architects, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases across mobile, web, and API layers. Your role includes deeper involvement in test planning, risk assessment, and automation readiness, influencing architectural decisions and contributing to our QA Center of Excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead test planning activities, including defining test scopes, strategies, and acceptance criteria for complex features. Design, review, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for mobile and web applications; ensure full coverage of business and technical requirements. Perform advanced functional, regression, integration, performance, and exploratory testing. Conduct in-depth API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar; validate endpoints, business logic, performance, and error handling. Review and improve test documentation (test plans, cases, checklists, bug reports) created by team members. Mentor and support Middle/Junior QA engineers, providing best practices and guidance. Identify quality risks early and work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to mitigate issues. Participate actively in architectural discussions and feature grooming from a quality perspective. Drive and contribute to test process improvement initiatives within the QA CoE. Support automation strategy, helping define what to automate and reviewing automation test cases (even if not coding full automation). Ensure high-quality releases, validate production readiness, and participate in release sign-off. Collaborate with CI/CD teams to ensure QA integration into pipelines and environments. Requirements Must-Have 4–6+ years of experience in manual software testing. Strong experience testing mobile and web applications across multiple platforms. Deep hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST/SOAP tools). Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing strategies, Agile/Scrum practices. Ability to design complex test scenarios, including edge cases and negative paths. Proven ability to create high-quality, detailed QA documentation. Strong defect investigation skills with ability to trace issues across logs, API calls, and backend. Experience participating in release planning, risk analysis, and QA sign-off. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.). Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to product quality. Ability to work independently and guide less experienced team members. Understanding of test automation concepts, frameworks, and best practices. Nice-to-Have Experience with writing or reviewing API/UI automated tests (C#, JS/TS, Java, Python). Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
