Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead with strong expertise in manual testing and automation using Postman & Playwright, along with exposure to the latest AI agents and AI-assisted testing approaches. The candidate should have hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing and automation, strong knowledge of API validation, and the ability to lead QA initiatives end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end manual testing including functional, regression, sanity, smoke, exploratory, and UAT validation for web and mobile applications. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) for critical business workflows. Leverage modern AI-powered testing tools and AI agents to improve test efficiency, generate test scenarios, optimize automation, and enable proactive defect detection. Conduct API testing using Postman/Swagger, validate request-response, data accuracy, and error handling, and automate API regression suites where applicable. Execute performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or similar tool to identify bottlenecks and ensure system scalability. Perform mobile application testing across Android and iOS devices, including automating key user flows and designing scalable test automation frameworks. Prepare and maintain QA documentation such as Test Plans, Test Strategy, Test Cases, RTM, Defect Reports, and Release Sign-off documents can also work with Zephyr. Collaborate with developers, product, and DevOps teams, participate in sprint ceremonies, and mentor junior QA engineers.
