Maintain and extend the proprietary automated test system and Python codebase
Develop and expand automated test scripts (stress, performance, feature tests) and image-diff suites; maintain Jenkins pipelines

BA/BS in CS or equivalent experience; 2+ years Python and 2+ years C++ (or similar)
2+ years testing 3D graphics apps or content creation tools; solid 3D graphics understanding

We will give you a chance to work with some of the most talented people in the graphics industry. Our Software team is looking for a QA Test Engineer to help us in our mission. The QA Test Engineer role supports our Software, Database, and Systems Engineering teams by testing our proprietary Image Generator (pc-Nova) by creating automated tests via scripts as well as maintaining our proprietary test system. Our test system is designed to ensure that pc-Nova performs at high framerates on high-end hardware such as projectors, MR headsets, etc. This position requires Python programming expertise in order to maintain our current setup as well as build new test features as needed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Aechelon successfully transitioned to a Hybrid Work model for a majority of employees. Since the QA Test Engineer position occasionally requires the use of in-office specialized hardware, including MR headsets and 120Hz testing configurations, the Hybrid Work requirement for this role consists of 2 days per week in-office at the company’s South San Francisco location, while the remaining 3 days per week can be worked remotely from a home office. Note that this requirement can change based on the applicant's familiarity with our test system infrastructure. United States citizenship required due to restrictions on access to certain data.
