What you will do: As a Senior QA Engineer, you will ensure the robustness, reliability, and performance of our 3D visualization products. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to test and refine our cutting-edge tools, ensuring they exceed customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for 3D software applications. Conducting functional, performance, regression, and usability testing to ensure the software meets our quality standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve issues. Driving automation efforts by creating and maintaining automated testing frameworks, Testing the compatibility of the software across various hardware configurations, graphics cards, and operating systems. Identifying and reporting bugs, performance bottlenecks, and visual inconsistencies. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in 3D technology, quality assurance tools, and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes. Mentoring junior QA engineers and promoting best practices within the QA team. Participate in tooling and process improvement discussions with QA peers and leadership, to continuously improve our testing practices. What we are looking for: We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive team player with a deep understanding of 3D applications of various domains and a passion for quality. Key qualifications: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with testing at least one 3D modelling software (e.g. Cinema 4D, Maya, Houdini, Blender), a CAD software (e.g. Vectorworks, Revit, Solidworks, Rhino) or a game engine (e.g. Unreal or Unity). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Architecture, Product Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5–8+ years in software QA (manual and automated testing) for desktop or plugin-based applications. Solid understanding of 3D workflows and physical based rendering, including shading and lighting. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a meticulous attention to detail. Experience with performance testing and profiling tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Background in UX/UI testing for graphics-heavy applications. Working knowledge of Windows, MacOS. Experience with testing automation is a plus. Programming or scripting experience is a plus.
