Role Overview We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Development Engineer in Testing (SDET) to champion the quality of our critical front-end applications. This role is highly collaborative and centers on building robust, accurate test automation using Playwright. The SDET will be essential in guaranteeing a pixel-perfect, reliable user experience and integrating quality directly into our CI/CD pipeline. Duties and Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain high-quality automated test suites using Playwright (UI and API) Work collaboratively with front-end engineers, leveraging a strong understanding of front-end application testing. Be detail-oriented, ensuring pixel-perfect and behavior-accurate UI validation. Be proactive in identifying UI edge cases and testing gaps. Build reliable test suites integrated directly into GitHub Actions for seamless deployment. Implement cross-browser testing and conduct focused performance testing for the UI. Apply experience testing real-time or data-rich UIs. Apply a basic AWS understanding to inform testing context. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in an SDET or similar test automation role Strong automation expertise with Playwright (preferable) or Selenium (UI and API) Good understanding of front-end application testing Ability to build reliable test suites integrated into GitHub Actions or Jenkins Familiarity with cross-browser testing and performance testing for the UI Desirable Qualifications Experience testing real-time or data-rich UIs. Basic understanding of AWS to navigate and validate within the cloud environment.
