Role & seniority: Test Automation Engineer (mid–senior level)
Stack/tools: Java; Playwright for Java; Selenium familiarity; HTML/CSS/JavaScript; Maven; Git; CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps); API testing (Postman, REST-assured)
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks; create comprehensive test plans
Integrate automation within CI/CD pipelines; execute tests, document results, report bugs
Monitor test coverage, optimize automation efficiency, and support continuous testing and process improvements
Proficiency in Java for automated tests; hands-on Playwright for Java
Experience with Selenium, web technologies, Maven, Git
CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps); API testing experience
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/DevOps practices; debugging and troubleshooting automation scripts
Effective communication, collaboration with developers/QA/stakeholders; requirement-to-test-case translation
Additional automation tools experience; test data management; BDD or framework design experience
FinTech/domain familiarity; experience with large-scale test automation architectures

Our challenge We are Seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for our applications. Ideal candidate will have experience with scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and testing tools like Selenium or Cypress.
Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Weehawken, NJ is $110K - 120K$/year & benefits (see below).
