Role & seniority: Vehicle Evaluation/Testing Engineer (3–5 years experience) - individual contributor with team coordination duties

Stack/tools: EV technology knowledge; testing and troubleshooting tools; interpreting mechanical/electrical/electronic drawings; MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); quality assessment reporting tools

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth vehicle tests per plan or on request; plan evaluations aligned with project progress

  • Coordinate with technical teams and manage issues across departments to resolve test findings; train and assign team members; establish test procedures and work instructions

  • Summarize evaluation results and compile comprehensive test/quality reports; manage timelines, testing plans, and project milestones

Must-have skills

  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics background; 3–5 years in automotive or supplier industry; EV/test experience (3+ years)

  • Project management experience (planning, scheduling, coordinating cross-functional teams)

  • Proficiency in testing tools, analysis, troubleshooting; ability to read technical, assembly, electrical/electronic drawings

  • Knowledge of EV technology, testing/evaluation standards; familiar with 07 QC tools, EOL testing, 8D reporting

  • Strong communication, English skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing); ability to work independently or in a team; disciplined and able to work under pressure

Full Description

Conduct in-depth tests according to full vehicle tests (according to plan or sudden request) Coordinate with technical team to inspect test vehicles according to specified milestones or according to test Manage issue arising during the evaluation of vehicles during development, work with related departments to solve arising problems. Summarize evaluation and test report Strictly comply with the company's rules and regulations Planning vehicle evaluation according to the progress of the project. Arrange and manage team members for the evaluation of vehicles and components Establish test procedures and work instructions. Train team members to perform the required assessments. Perform model evaluation based on given standards. Summarize reports on the results of vehicle evaluation. Managing issue arising during the evaluation process (Detecting issue, investigating causes, working in groups with relevant departments to solve errors) Co-work with all parties involved in the project, suppliers and internal divisions (Engineering division, Manufacturing, etc.) Other tasks as directed by manager.

Requirements

Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer or equivalent work experience (3~5 years) with good knowledge in program management in the automotive or automotive’s supplier industry Motorbike driver's license (A1 level) & car driver's license (B1, B2 or C level) At least 3 year of experience in the field of quality testing of E-Vehicle products (or in a similar role in a technical manufacturing environment). Have experience in using tool for testing, analyze and troubleshooting the issue Knowledge and experience of E-vehicle technology, testing skill, evaluation skill based on requirement Have knowledge of registration assessment standards for E-Vehicle Experience of manage project, manage timeline, testing plan, motivating team members to complete on schedule. Read and understand technical, assembly, electrical and electronic drawings Enthusiastic in work, not afraid of difficulties, able to work under high pressure. Have a progressive attitude, have a sense of striving, and cultivate knowledge at work Good logical thinking and good job overview. Ability to work independently or work well in team. Discipline and good work responsibility Have good communication skills.

Good English skills: Listening, speaking, reading, and writing Skilled in compiling quality assessment reports. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Able to work independently or well in groups. Basic knowledge of managing new product launch activities. Skilled in using mechanical, electrical and electronic measuring tools Have knowledge about main Vehicle aspects.

Having basic knowledge of quality management operations: 07 QC tools, EOL testing, 8D report.
