Role & seniority: Quality/Test Engineer (EV vehicle/component evaluation and QA management)

  1. Plan and conduct vehicle and component evaluations per development plan; establish test procedures and train staff

  2. Manage quality assessment from customer perspective, defect management, issue investigation, and cross-functional resolution with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers

  3. Compile test reports, DVP&R documents for top management, participate in Gate reviews, and submit to PHC system

  • Must-have skills: University degree in mechanical/electrical/electronics; at least 3 years in quality testing of EV/products or similar; ability to read technical/assembly drawings; experience with testing tools and troubleshooting; project/timeline management; good communication; basic English; driver licenses (A1, and B1/B2/C); independent work and teamwork; strong analytical and problem-solving capability

  • Nice-to-haves: Knowledge of EV technologies and registration assessment standards; experience with new product launches; experience coordinating across suppliers and internal teams; strong reporting and quality assessment skills; disciplined, resilient under press

In charge of ensuring the vehicle evaluation and component evaluation according to the requirements of the vehicle design and development plan. Responsible for quality assessment from the customer's perspective, overall project management, review planning, and defect management. Manage errors arising during the evaluation of vehicles and components during development, working with related departments to resolve problems. Summarize test reports, prepare DVP&R documents for approval by top management, participate in Gate review meetings, and submit documents on the PHC system (Project Health Check). Strictly comply with the company's rules and regulations. Plan vehicle and component evaluations according to project progress. Establish test procedures and work instructions, and train workers to perform required assessments. Perform model and component evaluations based on established standards, and summarize reports of eScooter evaluations for each quality gate. Manage issues arising during the evaluation process by detecting problems, investigating causes, and collaborating with relevant departments to resolve errors. Co-work with all parties involved in the project, including suppliers and internal divisions such as Engineering and Manufacturing. Perform other tasks as directed by the manager.

Requirements

University Degree in mechanical such as mechanical engineering, dynamics, electricity, electronics. Motorbike driver's license (A1 level) & car driver's license (B1, B2 or C level). At least 3 years of experience in quality testing of E-Vehicle products (or in a similar role in a technical manufacturing environment). Have experience in using tools for testing, analyzing and troubleshooting the issue. Knowledge and experience of E-vehicle technology, testing skill, evaluation skill based on requirement. Have knowledge of registration assessment standards for E-Vehicle. Experience of managing projects, managing timeline, testing plans, motivating team members to complete on schedule. Read and understand technical, assembly, electrical and electronic drawings. Enthusiastic in work, not afraid of difficulties, able to work under high pressure. Have a progressive attitude, have a sense of striving, and cultivate knowledge at work. Good logical thinking and good job overview. Ability to work independently or work well in a team. Discipline and good work responsibility. Have good communication skills.

Basic English skills: Listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Skilled in compiling quality assessment reports. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Able to work independently or well in groups. Basic knowledge of managing new product launch activities. Skilled in using mechanical, electrical and electronic measuring tools. Read and understand technical drawings, understand product structure (E-BOM, M-BOM)& 5S.
