Salary: 225,000 pa
Role & seniority: QA Lead (platform group); 5+ years in QA/SDET with leadership experience (≥1 year)
Stack/tools: Selenium, Playwright, TestRail; CI/CD integration; API testing; test automation frameworks; QA platforms and tooling
Define/maintain QA standards, strategies, and integrate quality gates into CI/CD; drive continuous QA improvement
Lead and mentor QA engineers (manual and automation); plan resources and testing schedules; foster quality ownership
Own test planning, test data strategy, test execution, defect lifecycle, and release readiness (including post-release smoke testing)
5+ years in QA/SDET or software development testing
Leadership experience guiding QA teams
Expertise in testing methodologies and tools (Selenium, Playwright, API testing, TestRail)
CI/CD collaboration and strong communication across product/eng/DevOps

Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and support QA engineers (manual and automation) Plan QA resource allocation and testing schedules Conduct reviews, provide feedback, and support skill development Promote a culture of quality ownership across teams within the group
Test Planning & Execution Own test plans, test cases, and test data strategy Oversee test execution and defect management lifecycle Ensure adequate test coverage and risk-based testing Validate acceptance criteria and release readiness Ensuring coverage for smoke testing post release.

Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with Product Managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria Work closely with Engineering Leads to resolve quality risks Communicate quality status, risks, and metrics to stakeholders Support release planning and go/no-go decisions Partner with QA platform & enablement to evaluate & implement next gen tools & technologies for the QA function.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 CAD per year, plus an additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.
