About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager responsible for defining and executing the overall quality strategy for software products and services. This role ensures high standards of quality across the SDLC by leading QA teams, implementing robust testing processes, and partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams to release reliable, high-quality software.

Define and drive the QA vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals Establish and enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices across teams Ensure quality is embedded throughout the life cycle of the projects Define quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms
Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of manual and automated testing activities Ensure timely test coverage for functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and release testing Manage test environments, data, and dependencies Own defect management processes and quality risk assessments Ensure release readiness and sign-off from a quality perspective
Drive test automation strategy and improve test coverage and efficiency Select and implement QA tools for test management, automation, and reporting Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Continuously improve test frameworks, processes, and practices
Lead, mentor, and manage QA engineers, leads, and automation specialists
Conduct 1: 1s, performance reviews, and career development planning Build a strong quality culture focused on ownership and accountability Support hiring, onboarding, and team capacity planning Identify skill gaps and enable training and upskilling
Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Delivery teams to ensure quality outcomes Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning Advocate for quality in decision-making and trade-offs Communicate quality risks, metrics, and release readiness to stakeholders
Analyze defects, production issues, and test results to drive root cause analysis Implement preventive measures to reduce escaped defects Drive process improvements to enhance quality, speed, and reliability Stay current with QA trends, tools, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices Experience with manual and automated testing for web, and/or API-based applications Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST tools). Playwright experience would be an added advantage Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Proven experience leading QA teams and managing delivery commitments Strong planning, prioritization, and risk management skills Ability to balance speed, quality, and cost Excellent stakeholder communication and reporting skills
Experience Needed to Qualify
Overall 15+ years of Industry experience and a minimum of 4+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Manager, Experience in performance, security, or accessibility testing Experience managing distributed or offshore QA teams US Life & Annuity Insurance domain experience would be an added advantage ISTQB or similar QA certifications
