Role & seniority: Senior Software Developer / QA Automation Engineer (5+ years experience)
Stack/tools: C# and .NET; backend automation and API testing; automation frameworks; unit/integration testing; CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, GitLab CI); familiarity with microservices/event-driven architectures; performance & security testing tools; AI system testing methodologies (agentic testing)
Design, implement, and enhance automated tests and regression suites across the tech stack; review and improve manual vs automated tests
Contribute to automation framework design, document standards, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across multiple squads
Ensure quality throughout SDLC, coordinate testing efforts, and optimize test data access and testability
5+ years in software development and/or QA automation
Extensive C# and .NET development experience
Expertise in backend automation and/or API testing; strong analytical abilities

Requirements
5 years hands on experience in software development and/or QA automation Extensive experience in C# and .NET development is essential Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or any IT related courses
Expertise in back end automation and/or API testing Proven track record of contributing to automation frameworks using any language or toolset. Strong analytical ability to review manual and existing automated tests, enhancing automated regression test cases for reliability and efficiency. Experience with unit testing and integration testing Understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices to be able to implement testing frameworks across the tech stack. Knowledge in AI system testing methodologies including agentic testing and protocols to enhance current testing workflows in the SDLC. Expertise in performance testing and security testing tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, TeamCity or GitLab CI. Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Proven track record of contributing to automation frameworks using any language or toolset. Strong analytical ability to review manual and existing automated tests, enhancing automated regression test cases for reliability and efficiency. Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to participating in framework design discussions, documenting new standards, and continuously improving them. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate testing efforts across multiple squads and facilitate access to test data. Emphasizing the importance of quality in every aspect of the development process. Mentor and guide junior team members in automation best practices.
