About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our growing team at Sitech. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and hands-on experience testing both web and mobile applications. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality. Test RESTful APIs and backend services for reliability and performance. Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA. Write and run SQL queries to validate data in MySQL or MongoDB databases. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues. Participate in sprint planning and provide feedback on product requirements and testability. Contribute to the automation of test cases (experience with frameworks is a plus).
Qualifications & Skills
2–4 years of experience in software testing for web and mobile applications. Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services. Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and database querying (MySQL, MongoDB). Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) — a plus. Basic experience or interest in test automation — a plus. Show more Show less
