Role & seniority: Senior/Staff Systems Engineer, Behavior Test Engineering (hybrid work; reports to Technical Lead Manager)
Stack/tools: Python, SQL; robotics/software verification for safety-critical systems; simulation tooling; data analysis and modeling; cross-platform testing with on-vehicle and simulator environments
Develop test strategies and methodologies for rapid scaling and rare edge cases
Design/implement metrics, test plans, and simulated off-nominal scenarios across multiple platforms
Write reusable software to analyze simulation results and drive automation at scale; lead cross-functional efforts to enable multi-platform testing; review requirements and feature validation plans
Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent practical experience
Experience in robotics software development or software verification/validation for safety-critical/high-reliability systems
Strong communication; experience working across multiple disciplines; Python and SQL for data analysis
8+ years of engineering experience (academia counted)
Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, assisted driving, or similar safety-critical domains
Availability to work within PT timezone business hours
Location & work type: Hybrid schedule; US locations; potential remote options; salary range $196,000–$248,000 USD; eligible for bonus/equity per company program
