Salary: $196,000 - $248,000 / year
Role & seniority: Systems Engineer, Perception Test Engineering (senior level; 8+ years preferred)
Stack/tools: Python, SQL; C++ preferred; robotics software verification/validation; data analysis and modeling; simulation tools and onboard AV software; cross-platform testing
Develop test strategies for rapid scaling and edge cases, including rare fault or remote-assistance scenarios
Design/implement metrics, test plans, and simulated scenarios for off-nominal testing across multiple platforms to support rapid commercialization
Lead cross-functional efforts to enable scalable multi-platform testing and automate analysis of simulation results; review requirements and validation plans
Advanced degree in Engineering, CS, Robotics, or equivalent experience in perception/robotic systems
Experience in robotics software development or software verification/validation for safety-critical/high-reliability systems
Strong machine learning fundamentals and applied statistics
Data analysis/modeling or software engineering with Python and SQL; knowledge of C++ preferred
Excellent written/verbal communication; cross-disciplinary collaboration
8+ years engineering experience (academic + industry)
Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or safety-critical systems
Experience leading cross-team initiatives and coordinating with external vendors/partners
