Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Design Quality Engineer located in Reynosa. Reporting to the Quality Manager the Design Quality Engineer’s role involves: What a typical day looks like: Ensure that the customer requirements are met and demonstrated though Validation planning Product assurance planning Asist in determining validation requirements and manufacturing change requests. Communicate and resolve validation with customers. Participating in the Engineering Gate Review Process. Experience with key tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and PFMEA. Experience in 8D leadership. Problem-solving analysis (proposing solutions). Experience with multitasking, prioritization skills, and schedule management. Experience with GD&T. Experience in Automotive Industry (desirable) The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Intermediate English Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Initiates and leads the corrective action process as required and assists with the problem-solving process and tools. (i.e. 6Sigma, and Tier 1 requirements). Confers with engineers about quality assurance of new product designs, Supports manufacturing sites regarding existing product quality and helps to resolve issues.
