Hands-on cloud/virtualization/VNF experience; Kubernetes/Docker
Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences

As a Software Mediation Engineer specializing in Testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of telecommunications systems, particularly in the IP domain with focus on IMS, PaCO, and SDM. You will work closely with Nokia teams and other stakeholders to execute comprehensive testing strategies.
Developing a thorough understanding of test environments and functionality to effectively execute testing procedures for telecommunications systems; Reviewing test scope and planning with Nokia Test managers and TPM/PM to ensure alignment with project objectives; Troubleshooting technical issues that arise during testing, providing timely solutions to maintain project momentum; Collaborating with cross-functional team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality across systems; Creating and documenting requirements for Test Cases that thoroughly validate system functionality; Logging and tracking defects using customer-agreed tools, maintaining detailed documentation throughout the testing process; Generating comprehensive defect reports for status updates to keep stakeholders informed of testing progress; Supporting defect resolution through collaborative troubleshooting with other team members; Escalating critical defects to Defect Managers to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
