Contribute to quality assurance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics; translate requirements into test solutions.

This is a team led by Test Managers, that serves the entire Netcompany SEE & EUI organization, bringing value and benefit in all the technologies we use and offer. Our Testing team is engaged with a vast portfolio of services, technologies, solutions and methodologies.
Job Description
So, what are the main responsibilities of a Tester in Netcompany?
As a Tester, you will be part of an Agile, Software Product Development Team with a number of experienced Test Automation Engineers. Your everyday life will mainly consist of working in a high-performing Test Automation team, being exposed to a wide variety of technologies and methodologies.
As a Tester You Will
Contribute to the distribution of all Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics. Translate business requirements and specifications into test solutions that ensure the highest quality of the deliverables. Analyze, design, plan and execute strategies for all unit, process, function, integration, and acceptance testing for covering all software lifecycle phases. Design automation test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures. Perform automation test execution; mentor, direct and monitor other testers in automation principles. Be responsible for partnering with project management to identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated testing methodologies. Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards. Collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicating to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience in ICT sector; experience in designing, planning and execution of software testing strategies will be nice to have. Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle for enterprise scale projects with Agile methodologies or Test-Driven Development and continuous integration processes Hand-on experience in issue & project tracking tools (Jira and Atlassian product stack). Working experience with Automation Testing tools (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber & Soap UI) and Defect Tracking Tools (Bugzilla). Knowledge of Java and/or .NET. Experience of SQL, XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST. ISTQB Foundation Level (or equivalent Certification) is nice to have.
