Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Test Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to identify issues, validate requirements, and ensure seamless user experiences across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Testing

Perform end-to-end functional testing to ensure all features behave as per the specifications.

Validate new enhancements, feature updates, and bug fixes.

Identify gaps and inconsistencies in requirements and report them promptly.

UI/UX Testing

Evaluate the application interface for consistency, clarity, responsiveness, and usability.

Verify adherence to design guidelines and user experience standards.

Ensure compatibility across browsers, devices, and screen resolutions.

Performance Testing

Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to gauge application responsiveness and stability.

Identify performance bottlenecks and work with developers to resolve them.

Monitor resource usage, response times, and overall system behavior under various conditions.

Regression Testing

Execute regression test suites after code changes, updates, and deployments.

Ensure previously working functionalities remain unaffected.

Maintain and update regression test cases regularly.

Exploratory Testing

Perform unscripted, behavior-based testing to discover unexpected bugs or usability issues.

Document findings clearly and propose possible improvements.

Edge Case & Boundary Testing

Test applications under unusual, extreme, or boundary conditions.

Validate input handling, error messages, and system behavior in non-standard scenarios.

Ensure application robustness and reliability in real-world unpredictable situations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–3 years of hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with test case design, execution, and bug reporting. Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Good understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design patterns.
