About The Role

As a Director at Emplay, you will provide overall leadership of a vertical, portfolio, or business unit. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap that aligns with Emplay’s strategic goals, leading delivery teams across multiple accounts, and ensuring the consistent success of AI automation solutions for enterprise clients.

This role is a blend of strategic vision, organizational leadership, and external representation. You’ll build and lead high-performing teams, implement governance practices, and pioneer innovation that keeps Emplay at the forefront of the AI automation market. You will act as the executive voice for clients, ensuring that delivery aligns with measurable ROI and business impact.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields. Postgraduates (MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc.) preferred for leadership/strategic depth. Certifications in executive leadership, enterprise architecture, or advanced AI/ML programs are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute the roadmap for the vertical, ensuring alignment with company strategy and market needs.

Leadership & Talent: Build, mentor, and retain top talent; establish succession pipelines and leadership depth across teams.

Delivery Oversight: Ensure multiple accounts/projects deliver high-quality, scalable, and impactful AI automation solutions.

Governance & Standards: Set and enforce delivery standards, compliance, and governance frameworks (data privacy, security, bias mitigation).

Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies, foster experimentation, and develop scalable modules that integrate with Emplay’s platform.

Client Executive Engagement: Lead executive-level client discussions, framing solution approaches, visualizing ROI, and ensuring long-term retention and growth.

Business Impact: Track profitability, ROI, and strategic outcomes at the portfolio/vertical level; drive sustainable growth.

Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with product, engineering, and sales leadership to shape Emplay’s platform evolution and GTM strategy.

Organizational Representation: Represent the vertical at the leadership table and in external forums, strengthening Emplay’s reputation in the AI ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in enterprise AI/SaaS delivery, automation consulting, or leadership of large-scale technology portfolios. Proven success in leading multi-project portfolios and verticals with measurable business growth. Deep expertise in delivery governance, strategic planning, and client executive management. Strong understanding of LLM-driven solutions, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and multi-agent orchestration. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with execution discipline. Executive presence, excellent communication, and stakeholder influence skills.

Financial acumen: managing budgets, profitability, and long-term business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale AI automation programs using LangChain, LangGraph, or vector databases. Exposure to cloud-native enterprise deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and multi-tenant SaaS architectures. Prior leadership of organizational transformation initiatives at scale. Strong industry network and track record of representing organizations in executive, industry, or partner ecosystems.
