About The Role

As a Manager at Emplay, you will act as a project owner, solution architect, and people manager. You’ll own multiple AI automation projects simultaneously, architect complex workflows, and ensure that delivery teams consistently meet quality, scope, and business objectives.

This role blends hands-on technical expertise with leadership and delivery management. You’ll translate strategic goals into project plans, allocate resources, and mentor team leads while maintaining strong client relationships. You will be accountable for project profitability, delivery risks, and execution excellence.

You are expected to set high standards in solution design, delivery discipline, and leadership maturity, while creating an environment where Associates, Senior Associates, and Team Leads can succeed and grow.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Postgraduates (MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc.) with experience in enterprise delivery, AI automation, or solution consulting strongly preferred. Certifications in solution architecture, AI/ML, or project/program management (PMP, Agile, SAFe, etc.) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership: Own delivery of multiple AI automation use cases/projects end-to-end, aligned with client SOWs and strategic objectives.

Solution Architecture: Design scalable workflows using LLMs, RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, and integrations with enterprise systems.

Strategic Planning: Translate business goals into execution roadmaps, allocate resources, and manage timelines, scope, and budgets.

Team Leadership: Mentor and guide Team Leads; ensure Associates and Senior Associates are growing in accountability, skills, and delivery excellence.

Risk & Escalation Management: Proactively identify capability gaps, delivery risks, and dependencies; resolve escalations before they impact outcomes.

Client Management: Manage client interactions at the project level, ensure satisfaction, and anticipate future needs.

Capability Building: Identify skill gaps in the team and sponsor training, hiring, or certifications to build delivery maturity.

Process Discipline: Drive adoption of Agile/ADO hygiene, quality standards, and repeatable best practices across projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, architects, and leadership to align delivery with product strategy and platform vision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6–8 years of experience in AI automation, SaaS delivery, enterprise consulting, or solution engineering. Proven track record of leading end-to-end project delivery across multiple accounts or workstreams. Strong expertise in solution architecture and translating business needs into technical workflows. Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG frameworks, prompt design, and multi-agent orchestration. Proficiency in SQL and Python for analysis, validation, and prototyping. Experience in BI reporting, data interpretation, and KPI-driven delivery. Excellent client-facing skills; ability to manage high-stakes discussions with stakeholders. Strong leadership and people management skills; demonstrated ability to mentor and scale teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, vector DBs (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate), and conversational AI platforms. Exposure to cloud-based architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise system integrations. Prior experience managing project budgets, utilization metrics, and profitability. Background in consulting or enterprise-scale delivery with cross-functional team management.
