You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable, high-quality releases.
Design, build, and maintain UI automation using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) and Selenium WebDriver (Java). Develop API automation (REST/SOAP) with Rest Assured or equivalent libraries. Create modular, data-driven, and BDD test suites (e.g., Cucumber) with clean code and reusable components. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) with reporting and gating. Define test strategies and shift-left quality practices with developers and product owners. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing; contribute to performance and security checks when needed. Write and optimize SQL queries for test data setup and backend validation (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server). Troubleshoot flaky tests, analyze failures, triage defects, and drive root cause analysis. Your Profile Maintain test documentation (test plans, cases, coverage, traceability) and ensure alignment to Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Track and communicate quality metrics (coverage, defect density, escape rate, MTTR) to stakeholders.
