We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer / Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, and API automation using Rest Assured. The ideal candidate should have experience in building robust automation frameworks, executing automated test suites, and ensuring high-quality delivery across web and API applications.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java & Selenium. Automate API test cases using Rest Assured. Develop and execute test scripts for UI, API, regression, and functional testing. Identify test cases for automation and improve test coverage. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to analyze requirements. Log defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Perform code reviews of automation scripts and ensure best practices. Maintain documentation for test cases, test plans, and automation frameworks. Work in Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint ceremonies.
Requirements
Strong programming skills in Java. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. Good experience with API automation using Rest Assured. Solid understanding of TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git. Good knowledge of automation frameworks (hybrid, page object model, data-driven frameworks). Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automation into pipelines. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies. Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Nice to have
Experience with Postman, Swagger, or API tools. Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, or cloud environments. Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber). Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
